HVAC Tech for Colorado Springs
Job Description
Position Overview:
As an HVAC Technician at Ascent General Contractors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC systems on our construction projects. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise will help create comfortable and safe environments for our clients and their occupants.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning systems, and ventilation equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify root causes and provide effective solutions.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of HVAC systems.
Collaborate with construction teams to integrate HVAC systems into new and existing construction projects.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment serviced.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a trade school or apprenticeship program is preferred
EPA certificate.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical manuals.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
